Social isolation is deeper than ever. This role is to team up with another volunteer and create opportunities for connection in your community, wherever you think they are most needed.

We have templates for Conversation Coffees, Wellness Workouts, Peer Mentoring and other types of events, but you are also welcome to invent your own!

We will have regular trainings and check-ins, with a flexible schedule. We have a platform for sharing these opportunities and a staff to help promote them and bring in mentors and guides as needed. We hope that these community building activities will also be enriching for our volunteers!

civ.works is a privacy protected social platform built for meaningful civic action.

The concept of civ.works is to finally provide a societal machine to stand up against something created nearly 50 years ago -and begin the process of empowering citizens again. We are building a platform together -against an incredibly mature and well-funded machine. Your volunteer efforts will be helping us collectively build something powerful and important.
