Part-time teacher position in the heart of the South Caribbean of Costa Rica!

At Dudley's 1st Interactive English Courses, we provide opportunities to learn english for locals. Our intention is to teach English with the intention of also preserving Caribbean culture and teaching the history as a part of our courses.

We are looking for reliable volunteers to teach 1+ classes of english for a minimum of 3-4 month commitment (duration of term for quarter of classes).

Classes are 2 hours long, 1-2x/week depending on the skill level and the age group.

Speaking spanish is not required, although would be helpful.

This gives you an opportunity to live in a beautiful place with rich wildlife and nature, while also giving back the the local community, thus helping them learn new skills that will enrich their futures as well.

The extreme scarcity of mental health support across the behavioral health continuum of care, due to limited resources and inequities, often results in a focus on interventions only for those who live in metropolitan areas or those with higher incomes.
