We are looking for Advisors who have skill sets in the following areas:
- Legal
- Branding
- Social Media and Outreach
- Education / Curriculum building
- Technical Assistance (website / emailing list / suites)
- Marketing / Strategizing
Are none of these a match for you? Maybe someone you know may be better suited for it, refer them to this volunteer position!
Our Advisors help us in these areas, giving around 4 hours a month to specific functions for keeping the council running. The work varies on the role but may be any where from analyzing our current processes and creating a plan to restructure them or implementing said plan into action for our educational material, marketing material, branding, etc.
Each year the council does 2 annual projects, decided on by the council. We want to keep the youth doing the annual projects and not focused on the operational aspects of the council.

To enable more young people across the US to be able to promote the joys of riding a bicycle through support and tools of their own.
Description
The National Youth Bike Council puts on the Annual Youth Bike Summit, a 3-day conference that enables connects young people into the world of bicycling or bicycle advocacy and teaches life lessons through workshops. In additional to gathering youth ages 24 and under, the Council organizes bicycle programs across the US to improve the mental health of young individuals through increasing the amount of young people bicycling.
