Ocean Conservation

We are very proud of our "Ocean Week in Review" publication. We scour news sources looking for the most critical and interesting ocean-related stories. We create a one-paragraph summary and include one or two reference links. We edit and then we re-edit.

We need a fabulous, dependable person who can take our weekly labor of love and load it into an intuitive newsletter form AND onto a WordPress blog template. The ideal candidate loves the ocean and believes in our mission, has attention to detail and loves working with fun people who love knowing they are making the world a better place.

The collecting and editing are completed on Thursday and must be loaded on Thursday afternoon evening so we can schedule to send it out on Friday AM. The turnaround time is a bit tight but the final product is worth it! We are willing to train you on the WP blog and our newsletter drag and drop template.

Sea Save Foundation stands witness to the health of the oceans and the threats they face, we document problems and develop solutions, arm people with knowledge, and tools so they can make a difference. With the public as our ally, we go to the United Nations and other global bodies to effect international change. We attend these meetings so we can offer creative, economically viable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly plans to decision-makers. We also make sure everyone is doing their best to meet their targets.

Description

Sea Save Foundation approaches conservation from two fronts:

  1. We develop and promote inspiring educational campaigns that showcase the beauty of ocean flora and fauna and underscore the current challenges facing our marine ecosystems.
  2. We couple serious environmental issues with concrete advocacy campaigns undertaken by our supporters and partners. With these programs, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of ocean conservation and create sustainable, healthy ecosystems for generations to come. It’s your ocean. Do something about it!
