The Salvation Army Chicagoland, northern Illinois, and northwestern Indiana has many ways you can volunteer this year to help make the holidays bright for many!
All of the following (and more!) activities are available throughout the community this season.
- Organize and distribute toys for Angel Tree
- Organize and distribute food boxes for Christmas
- Holiday party set up
- Holiday assistance interviewers

- Keep in mind that most opportunities to volunteer are Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 6:00pm. We will try to accommodate your schedule.

The Salvation Army is serving more people in need and delivering the broadest array of services than any other not-for-profit organization in Chicagoland. The Salvation Army is making an impact every day in three key areas of critical importance and concern to people across Chicagoland -- Homelessness, Violence and Education. And, The Salvation Army is delivering the most critical services -- food, shelter, emergency assistance and disaster relief.
In communities throughout Chicago and the surrounding five-county area, we extend emergency and supportive assistance from 28 corps community centers, 80 service extension units, the Emergency Disaster Services Center, residential programs, mobile units, and several counseling sites.

- Join us for a single day or for many days! We would love your help this season!
- Use of a personal face mask is required throughout your volunteer shift. Additional screening surveys may also be required to keep everyone safe and healthy.
