Operation Safe Escape is a 501c3 nonprofit volunteer-run organization dedicated to combating domestic violence by helping people escape their dangerous situations and strengthening partnerships with domestic violence shelters, safe houses, advocacy organizations, and other key groups. As a secondary mission, OSE assists those impacted by stalking, harassment, and human trafficking.

OSE is looking for technical, social media, and article authors to help provide content for the organization’s blog, social media profiles, and other outlets. The specific topics and outlets will depend on the interests and experiences of the author.

What we’re looking for:

• A passionate do-gooder. Our organization consists entirely of folks who offer up their time & effort to the betterment of others so we’d like more of the same.
• Experience with completing writing projects, meeting deadlines, and following format requirements
• Someone that can help create style guides or suggest changes to ensure content is consistent and clear
• Strong written communication skills, to include grammar and structure
• Help identify appropriate topics and conduct research as required

What the role looks like:

• Work with team leads and subject matter experts to identify topics and develop content
• Develop content in various formats to support specific objectives
• Solicit feedback and edits as required before delivering the final product

Experience working with domestic violence or social service organization is highly desired.

About Operation Safe Escape

Operation Safe Escape was established in 2016 to address the growing need for security and safety in cases of domestic violence and related crimes such as stalking and harassment. Since that time, the organization’s charter has expanded to assist those impacted by human trafficking.

Operation Safe Escape is a volunteer-run organization that provides client-centric security and safety expertise, resources, and direct assistance to clients and partners across all security domains. There is no cost for the organization’s services. Additionally, the organization advocates for social and policy changes as they relate to its mission. Operation Safe Escape is a founding member of the Coalition Against Stalkerware.

The organization is a 501c3 tax exempt entity in good standing with the IRS. EIN: 46-4234802.
