Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement is seeking a bilingual volunteer to teach a beginner - level Spanish class.

We are looking for a volunteer who can dedicate a few hours a week for at least ten weeks. The ideal volunteer will have some teaching experience. The individual should be well organized, have patience and the ability to commit for the length of the project. This opportunity can be in-person or remote.

Description

A multi-service community-based organization in Long Island City Queens, Riis Settlement offers after-school programs for youth, adolescent services, immigrant services, including adult ESOL classes, and Senior Citizen support programs.
