Calling all office hospice angels.....we need you!!!

We are needing a few volunteers to make weekly calls to our hospice patients and or their family members to inquire if they have adequate supplies and need any medication refills. The volunteers will contact the Volunteer Coordinator with the information and she will email the RN Case Manager.

The time commitment is approximately 1-2 hours weekly.

Volunteer will assist with training.

In hospice care, the emphasis is on palliative care and quality of life. Every effort is made to made to make the patients as comfortable as possible and fulfill y=the distinct wishes of the patient and their family. There is practical, emotional and spiritual support available for all involved. Altus Hospice is absolutely dedicated to those we serve. We view our work as a sacred honor and go to great lengths to provide quality care. Our patient-focused approach hinges on creating a plan of care that is tailored to the unique needs and desires of the individual and their family.
