As a foster based rescue, Passport for Paws is always looking for dedicated fosters to join our foster team and help save the lives of our Texas dogs and cats. Passport for Paws provides all the food, medical care, crates, toys, etc. that you will need. All you provide is a loving home until they go on our life saving transport. Whether you want puppy breath, love the old souls, those that need medical care or just want to help cats and kittens we have a furry friend for you.

We also need volunteer drivers to deliver saved animals from the shelters to their foster homes, and deliver to and from vet appointments.

We cannot help animals in need without you! So please join our team.

Mission Statement

Passport for Paws is a 501(c)3 volunteer-based transport rescue committed to saving cats and dogs at high risk of euthanasia from local Texas shelters.

Texas shelters & rescues can’t keep up with the animal overpopulation. Passport for Paws helps alleviate the burden by fostering and transporting animals to our rescue partners in areas of the US where animal overpopulation is not an issue. In most cases, our animals are adopted prior to arriving onsite. In 2017 and 2018 combined, we saved over 1500 animals.

We do not do local adoptions so that we can focus on saving as many at risk animals as possible. We rely on the support of the community and our business partners to save Texas animals

We'll work with your schedule.
