2022 National High School Essay Contest

In the past two years of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have lived through a major disruption of our 'normal’ lives. All of Americans have suffered from this tremendous hardship, but many have made great efforts to adjust and help others. We want to know your personal experiences during this challenging time and how you help the communities.

Participants must be under the age of 18.

  • Word limit: 500-700
  • Font: 12pt Arial
  • Line spacing: 1.15

No registration fee. The deadline to submit an Essay is Thursday, January 6, 2022 by 5 p.m. (PST).

Mission Statement

Sunshine International Association is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing an assortment of classes and volunteering opportunities to kids and teenagers in the community. The primary activity of this organization includes educational workshops, extracurricular classes, tutoring services, and cultural exchange events. The goal is to inspire students' interests, expose them to a diverse culture, and encourage creative thinking. We hope to develop their inner curiosity and limitless passion for learning.

Description

Sunshine International Association was founded by a team of high schoolers, we hope to share our knowledge to the community through volunteering and hosting other activities. During pandemic time, we offer various extracurricular classes, tutoring services and group fun time via zoom to our communities. We hope more volunteers to join us and service this wonderful world.
