El Centro de la Raza's Housing department is looking for a Benefits Navigator to assist the Community Manager to provide outreach and assistance to residents of Plaza Roberto Maestas apartments and El Patio apartments in Seattle.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting intake to determine specific needs and assessment of eligibility for supportive programs including food, rental, and employment services
  • Referring clients to other El Centro de la Raza programs as applicable
  • Providing one-on-one technical guidance during application and other processes
  • Conducting regular follow-up with individuals and families
  • Assisting Community Manager with data collection, tracking and reporting
  • Assisting Community Manager with other projects and events to support residents
  • Attending weekly meetings with Property Management, Housing and Economic Development teams and organization-wide meetings
