Historic Preservation Specialist needed to evaluate and oversee restoration of the historic structure. This person would plan and supervise repairs to our National Historic Place. The Logan Community Center (LCC, or Logan’s Landmark) is registered with the US Department of the Interior as a Historic Place. The steeple roof is leaking and some damage has occurred in the belfry and plinth. Restoration of the historic lancet windows will also proceed. Stabilization and repair of the community room will take place as funding permits.

Description
Abandoned in 1970, the former church has suffered some deterioration.
Concerned for the future of the much-neglected property, a group of local citizens
united to form the Logan Community Association, which purchased the building
in 1986. Since then, members ofthe association have been working to restore the
edifice to its former grandeur in hopes of creating a viable center for community
activities
