Grant application researcher and writer is needed to secure funding for repairs to our National Historic Place. The Logan Community Center (LCC, or Logan’s Landmark) is registered with the US Department of the Interior as a Historic Place. LCC is recognized as a 501 (c)(3) by the IRS. Work is needed in documenting the organizations needs, past efforts and minimum grant requirements as set forth by historic preservation funding sources. CV

Our purpose is to preserve this National Historic Landmark as a center for community activities.
Description
Abandoned in 1970, the former church has suffered some deterioration.
Concerned for the future of the much-neglected property, a group of local citizens
united to form the Logan Community Association, which purchased the building
in 1986. Since then, members ofthe association have been working to restore the
edifice to its former grandeur in hopes of creating a viable center for community
activities
