Hospice patient care volunteers provide unique services to hospice patients and their families who may be walking through a difficult chapter of life by serving in practical ways, including visiting, reading, playing games, playing music, or simply being a companion. No medical training necessary! Hospice volunteers are valued and trained team members who work together with the other members of the care team to provide excellent, compassionate care to patients and families. Even the gift of one hour of volunteer time a month can brighten someone's day. We will train you!
