Non profit aimed at helping kids with life threatening illnesses.
Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Accountant/CPA to join our passionate nonprofit. The accountant would be assisting in providing documents/reports/audits. Organizing our IRS 990 EZ and other necessary forms for our yearly tax returns, and reconciling bank and other financial statements. These should be pretty simple as the last couple years we have had little activity due to COVID.
We are looking for someone that is timely, responsible and passionate!
The time commitment would be around 3 hours per month.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- Native English speaker or fluent (reading, writing, speaking) at a business level
- Excellent communicator, organized and engaged team-player
- Accountable and can work independently when needed
- Must have a computer or laptop with access to high-speed internet
- This position will be completely virtual

Mission Statement
Kasie Helpz Kidz is a non-profit organization with a mission aimed at assisting Kidz and their families whom are affected by cancer. Our Kidz range from ages 0-19, and we strive to continuously provide them with a strong support system, as well as their guardians, during and after their courageous battle against cancer. KHKidz focuses on lifting the spirits of those currently undergoing treatments, by providing them with a teddy bear, pizza and a movie night in the hospital. We also have fun events, like bowling or a fashion show, for the patients to spend time with their peers that are going through similar situations. KHKidz Financial Assistance Program was launched in 2013 to assist families with up to $500 per year in reimbursements for co-pays, medications, and counseling services during their child's battle with cancer.
Description
Provide teddy bears to children that are in the hospital or going through cancer treatment.
provide "fun days" for the parents and kidz which may consist of a bowling day, movie night, etc.
Assist with meals and fundraising efforts for families facing an chronic illness requiring a long hospital stay.
Our number one mission is to make our Kidz days brighter!
