We are looking for such qualities as:
- Supporting financial management and budget development
- Building organizations, developing internal policies and processes, and long-term planning
- Building culture and/or acting as a mediator/process leader when there is conflict
- Employment law and human resources policy
- Spotting legal liability issues related to social justice organizations
The commitment would be a minimum of four meetings per year for a term of two years.

The purpose of the San Francisco Tenants Union is to promote the preservation and expansion of the rights of tenants and the supply of affordable housing. Through counseling services, the distribution of the tenants' rights handbook
Description
This, mostly volunteer, organization has provided advice to renters in how to secure and maintain affordable habitable housing. Through counseling services, the distribution of the Tenants Rights Handbook the SFTU has educated thousands of renters of their rights and empowered renters to assert them.
