Road Dogs & Rescue is looking for an experienced and dedicated volunteer to help with coordinate transport!

Do you love dogs? Do you love helping a great cause? Do you love organizing and coordinating things? If you said yes to those questions then look no further!

As a Road Dogs Transport Coordinator Volunteer you would be responsible for the following:

  • Working with multiple parties to arrange transport of dogs to enter rescue and/or go to vet appointments
  • Maintain an accurate list of active transport volunteers

A little bit about us....

Road Dogs & Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that believes ALL dogs deserve a chance to live and be loved, so we take those most discarded and disregarded - seniors, medical, disabled, and pups born with congenital defects. We welcome all kinds but primarily focus on bulldogs due to their many health issues (we call them the Lovable Lemons of the canine world!) Road Dogs usually has about 60 dogs in foster homes at any one time, and they come from many sources - shelters, owner surrenders - even the meat trade in China!

Mission Statement

Road Dogs & Rescue saves special needs, neglected and abandoned dogs. Primarily focused on Bulldogs, we aim to rescue those from the brink of euthanization.

Description

Road Dogs believes all dogs deserve a chance to live and be loved so we save those who are most overlooked - the old, medical, and disabled, and those born with birth defects. We are primarily focused on bulldogs, because although they are cute, they are often abandoned due to their many health issues. We call them the Lovable Lemons of the canine world! Our Roadies come from many sources - shelters, owner surrenders, breeder surrenders - even the meat trade in China. We usually have about 50-60 dogs in foster homes at any one time.
