Rheumatology for All is a nonprofit whose mission is to increase access to rheumatology care in resource limited areas. There are three areas that we would appreciate help.
1. We are currently providing virtual conferences in rheumatology for medical residents in Rwanda. But we are looking for ways to expand our reach to other physicians in training and potentially medical students. One way is using social media. A volunteer who has experience with social media and education would be helpful in guiding us to an effective tool.
2. Practicing physicians in rural areas, especially in Africa, may not have access to current information about how to diagnose, treat or where to refer patients with autoimmune disease. We are looking for a tool, either social media or using cell phones.
3. We have been successful in raising funds but still would like to increase our donor base with either/and grants and donations.

Mission Statement

Mission and Goals RHEUMATOLOGY FOR ALL" is a non-profit organization formed in 2016 by an international group of rheumatologists to increase access to rheumatology care in resource limited areas. Our first project was to sponsor two local Ethiopian physicians for a fellowship in rheumatology in South Africa. They have returned to Ethiopia and are seeing patients and teaching rheumatology to the local medical community. We would like to continue to sponsor local physicians for specialty training in Ethiopia as well as other resource limited areas. We have also developed virtual educational programs for physicians in training in Rwanda and Ethiopia, which we are planning to expand.

Description

Our organization is a group of international rheumatologists including members from Africa, the United States and Canada. We are all academic rheumatologists.
