Community Engagement Committee Member Role:

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s Community Engagement Committee will.....

  • Serve as a volunteer leader for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
  • Commit to becoming a fundraising team at your Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
  • Recruit 3-5 new community teams
    • Friends & Family
    • Organizations & Clubs
    • Schools
    • Faith-based
  • Assist in recruiting back, retaining and stewarding previous years community teams.
  • Help implement champions plan to cultivate and steward champions club
  • Help implement ways to build community awareness about Walk to End Alzheimer’s and our mission.
  • Help strategize and implement community/friends & family kickoff for Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
  • Model mission fundraising by becoming a Champion.

Responsibilities

  • Partake in four Community Engagement committee meetings.
  • Work closely with your community engagement chair to ensure the success of the event.
  • Make calls and reach out as needed to various participants.
