You will be acting as a helping hand for the children in the orphanage and the school associated with the orphanage, improving their communication skills in English and benefitting in a bilingual environment. Simultaneously, as a volunteer, you can bring in newer ideas for betterment of their lifestyle, given the hardships they face daily and ease the journey ahead. Additionally, you can bring some zest and life back into the women's empowerment projects and give them a much needed boost post covid19.

As a participant on this project, you will be working with children that may have been abandoned and abused. It will be your role as a volunteer to support the staff by engaging the children in different activities, boosting their morale towards education itself and encouraging their families to be supportive.

Specifically, volunteers will do the following activities:

1. Assess the conditions and needs of the children and people you will be working with.
2. Provide guidance sessions to local faculty to improve current practices of imparting education, within the given curricula.
3. Provide career development session with youth girls and boys.
4. Assist in weekend chores for the kids and the orphanage staff, if possible.
5. Providing abused children with the care and attention they need.
6. Teach them about the arts and culture or even enlighten the kids on historical events from the respective volunteer’s homeland.
7. Help in community projects, wherever required. The program allows volunteers to visit the homes of the less privileged children and have an understanding of their life challenges the face daily and provide guidance and support to the children and their respective guardians on handling complex life situations.
8. Assist and strategize the women's empowerment projects associated with the NGO. Any child's mother would love to get a little push and help herself fend for her own family.
