Specialized Hospice is looking for kind and caring volunteers. (We are federally mandated to have volunteers.) If you choose to volunteer with Specialized you may pick from two options, one you may help us in our office with administrative needs. The other option is to help with direct patient care. When you choose this option you help the patients caregiver by giving them time to rest or partake in a hobby for a few hours. This refreshes the caretaker so that they take better care of the patient. You will get the opportunity to meet new people and learn about them.

Description
Specialized Hospice is a clinician lead organization with a main focus of providing great care and improving quality of life for any person approaching the end of their life due to a serious illness. We are looking for volunteers who have the hospice heart and want to make a difference in a person's life. You can volunteer by sitting with patients during their time of need, assisting with office duties, participating in a massage therapy program, playing music for patients and/or providing pet therapy.
