Are you looking for an impactful volunteer opportunity? Join the Alzheimer's Association's The Longest Day Committee to help grow this campaign for the Greater Indiana Chapter. We need volunteers to help us engage with the community, network and promote this campaign, as well as people that are interested in creating a positive participant experience. We’ll help you find a role that fits your interests, skills, and schedule.
The Longest Day is the day with the most light - the summer solstice. On and leading up to this day, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's through an activity of their choice. This unique fundraiser gives participants the opportunity to do what they already enjoy doing - whether that’s biking, baking, painting, golfing, or any other activity you can think of - and do it to help achieve our vision of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. Participants fundraise how they want and when they want...it's a DIY fundraiser!
The Committee is seeking volunteers from across Indiana with a range of talents - if you’re creative, help teams and individuals come up with awesome events and fundraising ideas; if you’re a planner, this is a great opportunity to flex those muscles; if you’re a cheerleader who likes to help people succeed and feel great about it, participants want to hear from you!; and if you are the networking or social media pro, you know we can never have enough of you!
