The tutoring co-coordinator works collaboratively with the existing co-coordinator and team of Literacy and Math Tutors (in-person and virtual) to provide a high-quality, outcome-driven tutoring experience according to the program model developed by GiGi’s Playhouse, Inc. The co-coordinator will participate in quarterly National Program conference calls with GiGi’s Playhouse, Inc. and relay information on program development and enhancements to Tutor volunteers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • About 5 hours a week for 2 weeks 3 times a year (at the start and of the tutoring session Fall (September), Spring (January), Summer (June) ; the rest of the year, 10 minutes a week.
  • Most of the role can be done remotely, except for one 1 hour local orientation each session in order to show tutors where the teaching resources are. Tutoring coordinator is not required to tutor but is welcome to.
