Did you know that Bishop Sullivan Center serves over 54,000 meals to our Kansas City friends and neighbors EVERY YEAR?
WE DO!
We are the only community kitchen outside of shelters that provide 10 meals (5 lunches/5 dinners) per week to our guests! This work is only possible through the hard work and dedication of volunteers--JUST LIKE YOU!
One City Cafe volunteers help:
- provide dignity to our guests by hospitably serving food
- make sandwiches and serve for lunch
- clean, wash dishes, and maintain a comfortable dining environment
- chat with guests and make them feel welcome

Description
Food: Bishop Sullivan Center operates two food pantries and One City Cafe, a community kitchen that provides nutritious lunch and dinner every weekday.
Jobs: Our employment programs seeks to remove barriers that prevent people from finding and keeping employment. We also operate two computer labs and assist with job searches and resume building.
Aid: We provide financial assistance to low-income families in the form of utility, rent or other needed assistance.
