Social Isolation is deadly. Your companionship is healing to patients and families in our hospice care.

Friendly Visitors provide companionship to HOC patients living in your neighborhood. You can also choose to visit nursing homes and retirement communities.

Volunteers typically visit once per week for an hour or two. Volunteers share stories, read the paper, do a craft project or just sit with the patient while the caregiver takes a much needed break. You decide how many patient assignments you wish to accept at any one time.

Hospice of Cincinnati has 700 patients across six counties. Chances are, we have a patient in your area who will greatly benefit from your smile and attention!

Sign up to become a friendly visitor to an HOC patient in your neighborhood.
