If you love to bring smiles to kids faces, we'd love to talk to you! We're looking for volunteers who are passionate about making a difference and want to help kids with life-threatening conditions feel like "a kid again"!
-Are you a doer and love to plan, implement, and attend super fun events?
-Have a little extra time to commit to impacting kids' lives and seeing their smiles?
-Willing to communicate regularly and attend (most) monthly meetings?
-Happen to have any community connections that can help elevate Adventures? (not required)
-Able to commit to a year (or more) of fun?
If you said yes to most of the above, we'd love to chat with you about becoming part of the Adventure Planning Committee! This group of volunteers is dedicated to providing fun-filled, carefree events for families raising a child with a life-threatening condition. Adventures take place about once a month and it takes a village to plan all the fun details well in advance!
Volunteers must pass a background check.

A Kid Again fosters Hope, Happiness and Healing for families raising kids with life-threatening illness.
Description
Who We Are:
For twenty plus years, A Kid Again has helped to restore a sense of normal for families thrust into the situation of having to care for a child with a life-threatening illness. Often these families are unprepared and unequipped to deal with what follows. A Kid Again hosts year-round events to support these families and provide them with memories that will last a lifetime.
Why We Do It:
A Kid Again is specifically designed to involve the entire family (not just the child who is ill) to improve the wellbeing of everyone affected by the situation. The families who participate in A Kid Again give back as much as they receive by connecting with each other and sharing their own stories of strength and encouragement.
What We Do:
Year 'round fun-filled adventures that allow children with life-threatening illnesses to feel like A Kid Again. Unlike other "wish" organizations, A Kid Again works to create a communal and interactive environment. Our program establishes ongoing, nurturing experiences that complement but do not overtake their day-to-day living.
How We Do It:
We accomplish this mission through the dedication of our volunteer network and the generosity of our donors. We strive to go beyond activities, providing comprehensive, practical support to help families cope with the extended effects of life threatening illnesses.
