An important aspect of any charitable organization is to raise funds to make donations and purchase supplies. The Assistance League of Metro Columbus has several fundraising activities throughout the year and members are needed to make them a success.
Our Annual pre-order flower sale is held and member volunteers are needed for tasks including unloading flowers from trucks, sorting the flowers out by the orders and then assist in loading vehicles with purchased flowers.

Assistance League volunteers transforming the lives of children and adults through community programs.
Description
The Assistance League of Metro Columbus provides community service to a variety of populations.
Our members work constructing and delivering hygiene kits to homeless shelters, interact with seniors in residential settings and provide shoes and school supplies to students.
Our funds come from grants, partnerships, donations and various fundraising events throughout the year.
New projects can be suggested by members and are considered for addition.
We partner with Westminster Thurber, Huckleberry House, VanBuren Shelter, the Homeless Families Foundation, the Open Shelter, and Emergency Rooms in hospitals in Central Ohio.
