Belknap House

Belknap House, a homeless shelter for Belknap County families, is looking to expand its Board of Directors. Belknap House is located in Laconia. It has been operating since February 2017. When full, the shelter often has six families residing there.

We currently have seven board members and would like to add four more members. The board meets once a month on the second Wednesday of each month for up to 1.5 hours. The board provides direction on finances, budgets, policies, and future goals. The board would like to expand their expertise in marketing, facilities management, and social media. Training will be provided for interested board members.
