Mission Statement
Youth Achieve provides free of cost aid to students in carving a path to success by offering academic consultancy and career navigation from trusted mentors. Our mentors consist of current post-secondary students who are willing to share their experiences as former students, helping mentees understand student life challenges and the secrets to success.
Description
- Provide one-on-one tailored mentorship to immigrant high school students.
- Career navigation and assistance in applying for volunteers. In addition to interviewing help, upon the need of the student.
- Program guidance will be provided if the student is unsure about their field of interest.
- Interactive workshops will be provided, to promote interpersonal skills and leadership development.
- Students will be given a chance to apply the skills through developing a small independent community project with their mentor.
