Momentum Collective Inc. is partnering with the Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Alexandria City Public Schools, and Alexandria Department of Recreation to provide after-school arts education to elementary age youth. We are seeking volunteers knowledgeable in any combination of hand puppet making, storytelling, and operating puppets with a view to facilitating at least two children's puppet shows throughout the program year. This opportunity is for one day each week, for 1-hour, between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00pm.
Volunteers must be comfortable working with youth from diverse backgrounds.
