Animal Rescue Allies is a digital media nonprofit who produces compelling storytelling for animal rescues and shelters to use on their website or social media. We believe in the power of storytelling to increase donations, awareness, and help save animal lives.
Animal Rescue Allies is seeking a Video Editor to do the following:
Video editor is tasked with taking raw footage footage, timeline, and outline from the producer and turning it into videos for the client's website, Youtube, IG, Tiktok or FB. Manipulates and edits film pieces, trims footage segments, inputs music dialogues graphics and effects, ensures logical sequencing and smooth running, and consults with producer to achieve clients needs through compelling storytelling. Skills: proven work experience as a video editor, solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages, demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio, creative mind and storytelling skills, thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity, familiarization with sound design.
We are an digital entity. Anyone with the passion, dedication, and skills may apply. We utilize a CRM (Keela), Slack, Loom, Zoom, and Adobe Creative Suites.

Animal Rescue Allies' mission is to produce digital media for animal welfare organizations. We were created to help those who help animals by telling their stories in a compelling way to increase their mission impact and communities.
Description
As a digital nonprofit, ARA works with remote skilled volunteers to support animal welfare organizations by producing videos and social media content for them to use. The organization was founded to support animal rescues and shelters through storytelling online, which can be used to fundraise, increase adoptions, or promote awareness. Many animal welfare organizations lack the money, time, and skill necessary to produce purposeful and compelling digital stories. We, at Animal Rescue Allies, are here to help them succeed. We believe the power of storytelling can save animal lives.
