We are looking for a Social Media Volunteer to support our marketing team's work educating parents and professionals about Theraplay through social media platforms representing our local therapy services (through The Theraplay Clinic) and training opportunities for mental health professionals (with The Theraplay Institute).

The Theraplay Clinic is the mental health practice of The Theraplay Institute - both operate from our office in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago.

We are looking for a commitment of 8-10 hours per week with at least half of those hours during business hours (M-F from 9 am to 5 pm) in order to facilitate effective communications with the marketing team.

Responsibilities include:
*Researching and developing content for posts supporting clinic services and outreach to mental health professionals
*Developing post graphics and written content (including hashtags) for publication through our Canva account
*Working with the marketing team to schedule posts for publication on a number of platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
*Working with team members onsite to develop video content as able (example: a video of staff members demonstrating a Theraplay activity or talking about clinic services) with the guidance and approval of the Marketing Director
*Research content and accounts for liking/following and opportunities to share/repost
*Assist the team in creating a sustainable content posting schedule
*Additional marketing projects as time permits

The person in this role will be provided access to our Canva account and will work with the marketing team to schedule content for posting once approved and ready.

You are welcome to come to our office to work so long as a member of the marketing team is onsite (you will have access to free parking and may use one of our computers - all staff members are typically onsite at least 2-3 days per week and otherwise working remotely) or you may work remotely using your own computer. This role would check in regularly with the Marketing Director. Please note that all staff and volunteers working onsite are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and we are currently following the indoor mask mandate set by the city of Chicago.

Volunteers must be18 or older. A background check is required for anyone working onsite at the office.
