Basic volunteer duties involved in this assignment:

1. Volunteer will assist Dietary Team Member with cold pull prep for lunch/dinner trayline following appropriate diet restrictions and portions for each patient.
2. Volunteer will assist Dietary Team Member with any last minute trayline prep or modifications including recording food temps and appropriate diet restrictions.
3. Volunteer will assist with trayline serving, trayline tear down and clean up, as well as cleaning and sanitizing all utensils and dishes used during meal service. Assist with cleaning kitchen floor and restocking any items needed for the next day.

Basic volunteer qualifications involved with this assignment: Friendly and eager to assist in helping the kitchen team. Can follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Who will be served by this assignment? The inpatients at the Medina facility, thus helping their families, the community of Medina and the surrounding areas.

What is the anticipated benefit of this volunteer service to those receiving the service? Provide Kitchen team with much needed help so the team can operate efficiently, maintain regular hours, and allow paid staff to provide complete service to the patients.

What specific skills will the volunteer need? Can be non-clinical support volunteer (less required training), criminal background check, and flu shot or medical/religious exemption needed for volunteering December 1, 2021 - March 31, 2022 (peak flu season).
