As an Activities department in a skilled nursing facility our mission is to provide activities to make life more meaningful, to stimulate and support physical and mental capabilities to the fullest extent, and to enable the resident to maintain the highest attainable social, physical and emotional functioning. With the majority of our staff speaking English and Spanish or Tagalog we are not able to fulfill our duty to our residents to the fullest extent. We are seeking Korean speaking volunteers who can help us fill in this gap. We strive to be culturally and ethically respectful to all our residents. Please help us make our facility a better place. Description
A skilled nursing facility is an in-patient rehabilitation and medical treatment center staffed with trained medical professionals. They provide the medically-necessary services of licensed nurses, physical and occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and audiologists.
