Bridge Home Health & Hospice is looking for volunteers dedicated and compassionate about making a difference by providing companionship to our terminally ill patients. Bridge volunteers conduct friendly visits with patients and help them in their daily lives by providing social visits, reading aloud, playing musical instruments, playing cards/games, caregiver relief, veteran to veteran companionship, etc.
Volunteers can also provide compassionate remote services such as phone calls, letter writing, sending cards, etc. Volunteer visits and phone calls make a huge impact and truly enrich the lives of our patients and their loved ones. A little time given goes a long way!
Bridge provides all training needed to be an effective volunteer by outlining our basic policies and procedures during our onboarding process. You can be sure that once you go on your first visit, you will be prepared.
Requirements Include: A clean record, TB test, drug screen (for those wishing to visit patients), a great attitude and desire to make a difference!

- Driver's License Needed
- Background Check
- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- We are hoping to gain a commitment of 2-4 hours a month for at least 6 months. If you are not able to accommodate this commitment, we can work with you.
- A clean background check, TB test and drug screen for those that would like to visit patients (not needed for remote volunteers) and a great, positive attitude!
