This position serves on rotating basis each Thursday evening from 7-8:30. It is a facilitator role for a "courage" group for families with a loved one living with mental illness. We call this group {EN}Courage.
The facilitator is responsible for arriving early to group, welcoming participants and encouraging them to sign in, starting, managing the group as they share (through a pre-determined structure), ending group on time and following up as needed with resources.
A facilitator training is provided and new facilitators are encouraged to attend the group as a participant for at least 4 weeks prior to facilitating on their own. Facilitators must have lived experience as a family member with someone living with serious mental illness.
