Exhibit Technician Internship
ORGANIZATION: CHILDREN'S MUSEUM AT LA HABRA

Under the supervision of our curator, the intern will assist with de-installation of our current changing gallery exhibit and installation of a new exhibit, RAINFOREST RANGERS (opening Feb 15, 2022). Ideally available 10-15 hours/week December 2021 for prep. 40 hours/week during install (January 16 - February 15, 2022). Some flexibility in schedule dates/hours.
Many of the exhibit components are fabricated in-house; other elements range from multimedia, lighting, and interactive. Additional duties may include organizing exhibits workshop and storage, updating collection list, researching collections methods, and researching upcoming exhibits. Applicants with experience in set design, gallery installation, fine art (painting, drawing) preferred.
