Kindred Hospice is looking for kind and compassionate individuals to join our team. As a volunteer there are many roles that you can fill. We have volunteers who prefer to work on an administrative level performing such tasks as providing assistance to office staff and doing patient recognition tasks such as sending sympathy, birthday and seasonal cards, doing crafts and assisting with such things as holiday Kindred patient gifts and charities. Other volunteers enjoy the direct interaction with patients in a facility or at home. They provide companionship, and support to the patient and caregiver. It can be a very rewarding experience for both you and the patient. You will become a very important part of our team.
We encourage Veterans to apply. Many of our patients would really benefit from interaction with a fellow Veteran. We would like to also encourage multilingual individuals to apply. We often have volunteer requests for Portuguese and Spanish speaking individuals.
Hospice follows all CDC guidelines for Covid 19. Volunteers must show proof of vaccination. Kindred Hospice also requires proof of Booster shot.
