Every day people are forced from their homes due to home fires, storms or other disasters. Our Disaster Action Team volunteers are dispatched to respond day and night by the Duty Officer, to meet the immediate needs of their neighbors. Our help may include financial assistance for food, clothing and lodging, emotional support, replacing prescription medications and other critically needed items.

Resolve to make a difference by turning tragedy into hope in 2023. The American Red Cross, Southeastern Pennsylvania(SEPA) Region has the following OPPORTUNITY FROM HOME, you must live in the 5 county footprint (Chester, Delaware, Bucks, Philadelphia or Montgomery County).

  • Disaster Cycle Services Duty Officer (aka Dispatcher): Ensures timely activation and monitoring of local and regional Disaster Action Team (DAT) responses. Minimum of three, 4 hour shifts per month from your own home.
