The Corporate Sponsor Coordinator works a volunteer within the Development Committee.

The purpose of the Development Committee is to tangible support to the mission and vision of the organization by supporting relationship development for the purpose of funding the mission. This is accomplished practically through an annual fundraising map, donor development, event planning, corporate giving strategy, brand management and media relations. This committee is staffed with volunteers and lead by a member of the Board of Directors.

The Corporate Sponsorship Coordinator will support the Development Committee with a focus on corporation giving. The position will work with the Executive Director manage Pathway To Hope's Corporate relationships and work in conjunction with the Development team to create the best strategy for each company given their philanthropic focus.

Our vision for the Corporate Sponsor Coordinator is to have one individual who is responsible for tracking and reporting the opportunities available, both locally and nationally, to meet our goals and increase relationships within the corporate community. This person will work with the Development Committee, Executive Director and Board of Directors to identify opportunities and take the lead on determining how best to move forward. Progress and obstacles will be reported monthly at the 2 hour Development Committee meeting where other topics are also addressed.

We expect that the Corporate Sponsor Coordinator will work 6-8 hours a month outside of meeting times and their primary responsibilities will be:

* Lead the assessment, valuation and packaging of corporate sponsorship assets at Pathway To Hope, including marketing, events, etc.
* Develop a pipeline of new prospects through outbound solicitations; field, assess and evaluate incoming calls; cultivate and develop relationships with promotion and event agencies and secure corporate partners in support of Pathway To Hope’s mission.
* Work with Development Committee, Executive Director and Grants and Major Gifts Coordinator to strategize on all philanthropic potential with each corporation or organization prior to activity.
* Manage pre-meeting activity, including pitch, presentations, and proposals.
