National Alliance on Mental Illness of Central Middlesex Massachusetts

Central Middlesex is one of the more dynamic NAMI affiliates in Massachusetts. We connect with people with mental health conditions and their families and expand mental health awareness in the communities we serve. Each January we welcome new members to our board. Their backgrounds, experiences and passions differ, but they all want to help build better lives for people living with mental health conditions and their families. We do this by offering education, support, and local and state level advocacy.

Our team is a group of empathetic, energetic individuals who keep free NAMI support groups and classes in place for those in need and organize the unique programs offered by our affiliate like the College Panel, Emerson Hospital Resource Flyers, Faith Communities & Mental Health Forum, Stand Up to Stigma Scarecrow Contest, and our Community Outreach Tables.

If you enjoy operating on the big picture level of an organization with dedicated colleagues, consider joining the NAMI Central Middlesex board. Our team meets monthly via Zoom, generally on the second Monday evening of the month. Experience with mental health conditions, either personally or within your family, is a plus.
