Mission Statement

The iSPACE mission is to ignite passion for Science and Technology to prepare all learners to thrive in tomorrow’s workforce. Our vision is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) literate society and a skilled STEM workforce that positively impacts our region's economic vitality.

Description

iSPACE provides the Greater Cincinnati region with innovative and effective programs for students (grades K-12), their educators and families. We provide field trips, in-school and after-school programs, summer camps, robotics competitions and other programs that stimulate interest in STEM and develop pathways to STEM careers. STEM concepts are reinforced through role-play so students can make the connection between what was learned and how it can be used in a career. iSPACE provides immersive experiences where students become scientists or engineers or astronauts for the time they are with us. Through the interest that is sparked during our programs, students can go on to choose career fields that are not only exciting/interesting but are highly sought out by local companies. In addition to teaching STEM concepts, our programs give students experience in many of the "soft skills" needed to be successful in today's workforce: teamwork, problem solving, logical thinking.

iSPACE is recognized as a premier provider of STEM education. Through rigorous alignment to national and state standards and the utilization of best practices, we continue to develop curriculum for educators and inquiry-based educational opportunities for students. We have made a mark in Greater Cincinnati for our high-quality programs that measurably and effectively inspire students in STEM, increase their content knowledge and introduce them to STEM careers.
