San Diego Canyonlands

Young Volunteers Remove Huge Weeds

You are invited to join us to restore Manzanita Canyon into a safe and vibrant place for students and families to enjoy and explore!

Volunteers will care for native plants, remove invasive plants, and remove trash and debris from restoration areas. We want to ensure that our canyons in San Diego will remain a place where people and wildlife are healthy and safe.

Feel free to contact San Diego Canyonlands at volunteer@sdcanyonlands.org with any questions before the event.

Project Requirements & Important Notes:

Signing Up: Please sign up on San Diego Canyonlands' website.

Attire: Wear sturdy shoes or boots (closed-toe shoes are required), comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty (long pants), and sun protection (hat and sunscreen).
