VOLUNTEER GRANT WRITER

Are you passionate about mental health? Are you passionate about educating our youth? If so, this position is perfect for you!

Que Paso Latinx is a nonprofit startup on a mission to destigmatize mental health, one paso (step) at a time. Our mission is to educate and empower our community through healing, conversations, and culture.

As the volunteer grant writer, you are someone who wants to make an impact by using your writing, research skills, and talents to help provide mental health education and support to the BIPOC community.

Your duties as our Volunteer Grant Writer would include:

  • Learning about and understanding the objectives, programs, and financial needs of Que Paso Latinx
  • Researching grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies
  • Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization
  • Submit proposals to the Executive Director for approval
  • Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders
  • Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities
