ORGANIZATION: Coordinated Assistance Network

  • 2 people are interested

The Coordinated Assistance Network (CAN) seeks to partner with like-minded Minority Led Organizations by providing a cloud-based platform that will increase the positive impact of people in need in the world around us. As minority nonprofits seek to grown or enhance their core mission with technology, organizations are requiring more and more funding. During the COVID economic downturn, thousands of nonprofits across the United States were forced to close their doors forever due to the lack of preparedness to work remotely and still carry out their mission. Funders generally do not provide grants for foundational technology enhancements, such as managing their own records, documents, client files, migrating data to the cloud and modernizing new and existing applications. The CAN is an all-in-one cloud-based platform, where there are no data and/or space requirements, never needing to download to utilize the software. Users may login from anywhere and being a responsive platform, users will have the ease of accessibility to login and work on case file management, video/virtual meetings, and internal HIPPAA compliant document sharing, where e-sign capabilities are just a few of the benefits.

The CAN is looking for skilled bloggers who understand the issues that MLO's are facing due to the aforementioned challenges. The bloggers would speak to those challenges, as well as the lack of funding, how collaboration helps communities and the leadership create solutions and any other relevant information where CAN is a medium to assist those nonprofits be more secure and efficient.
