The Retired Enlisted Association Chapter 1

Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Supports managers, employees, members and volunteers through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsibilities to include but not limited to: answering phone calls, maintaining membership records, providing support to visitors, maintaining a filing and data tracking system, write letters and e-mails on behalf of staff, ensure operation of equipment, maintain office supply inventory, handle sensitive information in a confidential manner, manage staff appointments, implement clerical duties and administrative processes, photocopy and print documents as needed, coordinate repairs to office and building equipment, maintaining operations when the primary administrator has additional responsibilities to attend to outside the office building.

Advocate for the rights and benefits of our enlisted servicemembers and veteran while enhancing the quality of life through community involvement and fundraiser events.

Description

Chapter 1 and its Auxiliary are committed to assisting the local community through donations of thousands of dollars annually to local charities which provided assistance to handicapped senior citizens, disadvantaged children, disabled or hospitalized veterans, and man other worthy causes. Many of our members donate their own time to community projects and we participate in many civic events such as parades, etc.
