Can you open your home to a transport dog for 2-3 weeks and save a life! All expenses and supplies provided!
Second Chance Pet Adoption's Hearts to Home program is in need of transport fosters. Second Chance partners with rescue organizations in northern states, where the homeless animal population is not as severe, to pull dogs from local NC overcrowded kill shelters and sends them to the northern rescue to be adopted into loving homes. Fosters are needed to take care of the dog for the short time (typically 2-3 weeks) between when they get their freedom ride from the shelter and when they get a spot on a transport. All supplies and expenses are provided. There is nothing you need to commit to except for providing your transport foster dog love and care during the few weeks it is with you.
