Do you have 3-4 hours per week to impact middle school youth?
We are looking for passionate adults who enjoy working with energetic youth. This opportunity is a coaching position for a team of 9 middle schoolers. As a coach, you will be in charge of leading a team of 9 youth. Practices will be 2 times a week and one game per week (generally on weekends). Practices will be held for 1 hour in your respective neighborhood (neighborhood will be assigned) between the hours of 4:30 and 8pm. Lastly, you will be in charge of collecting all basketballs and keeping them secure and accounted for during the season.
Our league will launch in the Spring of 2022! If interested

Description
Edify is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that got its start in 2019. Our focus is to provide safe spaces and opportunities for youth to develop holistically. With this, we focus on ways to support individuals to grow personally, professionally, and intellectually. We aim to contribute to communities of color so that they are thriving and prosperous.
Past programming included technology/coding camps for teens, a back to school drive that provided over 100 families with supplies, and a basketball league that serves over 600 middle schoolers.
