Volunteers are needed to maintain the Friends of the library bookstore at Penrose Library downtown. Tasks include straightening and stocking the shelves, taking donations, and sorting books. If you can commit to one specific day per week to drop in for just one to two hours, it would make a big difference!

To support, promote, and advocate for the Pikes Peak Library District’s dynamic and evolving role.

Description

The Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District was established on the 50 th anniversary of the Colorado Springs Public Library (March 11, 1955) and incorporated in 1969 as a nonprofit organization.
We support the Pikes Peak Library District by serving as community advocates, raising funds to enhance library services and programs, promoting the love of reading and books, and recirculating materials in environmentally responsible ways.
