Breath to Blossom is a nonprofit organization advocating and providing accessible trauma-centered, mind-body therapeutic programs and mental health services to survivors of intimate abuse, sex trafficking and commercial sex industry workers.
Breath To Blossom is looking for a Handyman to oversee and manage a wide range of repairs for our Healing Center. These tasks include trade skills, repair work, maintenance work etc.
We are expecting you to be organized and have good time management skills as well as with strong general repair skills.
Please see following responsibilities:
- Regularly perform maintenance jobs and light repairs
- Regularly perform various landscaping tasks
- Fill gaps and provide painting services
- Perform or assist lighting installation and flooring
- Repair equipment and various machines and appliances
- Identify, document and report maintenance and repair work
- Suggest additional repairs when identified and needed
- Ability to safely use common power and hand tools
- HVAC knowledge and repair skills
- Experience installing and replacing plumbing systems
- Strong communication skills with property management and tenants
- Self-starter with good time management skills

Description
Breath To Blossom offers nine week programs survivors of sex trafficking and intimate trauma various trauma-informed holistic healing modalities, our primary vehicle to guide healing in this program is through trauma-centered one-on-one yoga. We partner with local clinicians and other nonprofit organizations to offer our programs at no cost. We support and advocate for survivors of all backgrounds.
